What Sanctification Really Means

It’s not about improvement. It’s about surrender.

Sanctification

Sanctification isn’t self-help—it’s self-death.

It’s not a polished version of you.
It’s the end of you, so that Christ may live.

God’s will for your life isn’t your comfort.
It’s your conformity to Christ.
That’s why sanctification always includes a cross.

The Spirit of God will strip away every layer—
your pride, your self-image, your comfort zone—
until only your naked trust in Jesus remains.

Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin

Sons and daughters—
Sanctification doesn’t start in the spotlight.
It starts on the altar.

Jesus doesn’t just renovate your life.
He replaces it with His own.

When you pray, “Lord, sanctify me,”
you’re praying, “Lord, consume me.”

This is the will of God, even your sanctification.

1 Thessalonians 4:3 (KJV)

Today’s Prayer

Lord,
Take every false thing off of me—
my pride, my titles, my image.
Strip me down to just ‘me,’
and make me one with Christ.
Let Your will be done in my life through sanctification.
Amen.
