What Do You See in Your Clouds?

In Scripture, clouds often carry the presence of God.
Not just soft white skies—
but dark, uncertain, painful clouds.

Sorrow. Delay. Confusion. Grief.
These are not the signs of God’s absence—
they are evidence of His approach.

We want clear skies. God comes with clouds.

Not to teach us more, but to help us unlearn.
To peel back the layers of self-reliance.
To simplify our faith to this one reality:
God and my soul—nothing else.

Sons and daughters,
The clouds in your life aren’t proof that God forgot you.
They are the dust of His feet.

Every cloud is a classroom.
Every storm is a summons to trust.

Until others become shadows—until nothing and no one matters more than Him—
you’ll keep fearing the clouds.
But once you see Jesus in them?
You’ll know:
He didn’t come to destroy.
He came to draw near.

• Am I willing to walk into the cloud if it brings me closer to Jesus?

• What might God be asking me to unlearn in this season?

• Have I tried to interpret my suffering without considering God’s character?
