The Narrow Path Is Hard—That’s Why It’s Holy

All noble things are difficult—don’t expect ease, expect grace.

All Noble Things Are Difficult

Ease is not a sign of God’s blessing.
Difficulty is not a sign of His absence.

If you're on the narrow path, don’t be surprised by the squeeze.
Jesus never said it would be comfortable—He said it would be worth it.
The Christian life is gloriously difficult, but that difficulty is divine.
It’s not meant to discourage you—it’s meant to develop you.

Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin

Sons and daughters, hear me—
The narrow road isn’t for cowards.

If it were easy, everyone would walk it. But Jesus is looking for sons and daughters who bear His likeness.
Not just in belief—but in bravery.

Discipleship isn’t casual. It’s costly.
It means you’ll be tested—not just in public, but in private.
In the pressure. In the trial.
And when the crisis hits, your faith won’t hold you up unless it’s been practiced.

Don’t run from the hard things. Step into them with your whole heart.
God gives hard assignments to people He can trust.

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Matthew 7:14 (NIV)

Today’s Prayer

Father,
I thank You that You haven’t called me to the wide road.
Train me in the narrow way.
Make me strong in my spirit.
Give me the courage to face the hard things with honor,
to follow Jesus not just in comfort but in cost.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
