The Fruitfulness of Friendship
The power of your life begins where your strength ends.

THE FRUITFULNESS OF FRIENDSHIP
We often speak of sacrifice as if it were something painful, something demanded.
But when friendship with Jesus becomes your deepest treasure,
sacrifice becomes joy.
The truest self-surrender is not done with gritted teeth,
but with the delight of love.
Until we abandon all — no more "I will if…" —
we will not taste the intimacy of His friendship.
But when we do,
we’re met not with burden, but with the joy of Jesus.
Kingdom Disciples: A Word from Pastor Kevin
Sons and daughters,
Real friendship with God changes everything.
It transforms sacrifice into pleasure.
It turns obedience into desire.
It even reshapes our earthly friendships.
Natural affinities fade.
What used to bond us together now breaks apart—unless it is reborn in Christ.
Because now, love is no longer sentimental.
It’s sanctified.
When your affinity is Jesus,
your friendships will be holy, humble, and heaven-built.
I have called you friends.

Today’s Prayer
Jesus,
You call me friend—and I don’t take that lightly.
Break every false loyalty.
Remove every resistance in my surrender.
Let my love be full of joy, shaped by Yours,
and may every relationship I have reflect our friendship.
Amen.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS
Is Jesus the true center of my love and loyalty?
Where am I still offering God “conditional surrender”?
Have my friendships been reshaped by my friendship with Christ?
Many Christians jump straight into requests, complaints, or problems when praying. But that’s not where we should start.
