The Beatitudes Will Break You (and That’s a Blessing)

Jesus didn’t preach for comfort—He preached for transformation.

Daily Devotional

Am I Blessed Like This?

At first glance, the Beatitudes feel poetic, maybe even idealistic.
But they’re not just “nice words”—they’re spiritual dynamite.

You don’t apply the Beatitudes.
They apply themselves to you
Often when you least expect it.

When the Holy Spirit brings one of Jesus’ words back to you in a difficult moment,
you’ll feel the upheaval.
They’re not rules to follow—they are realities to become
when Christ is fully formed in you.

Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin

Sons and daughters,
The Sermon on the Mount isn’t soft.
It’s supernatural.

We love the beauty of “blessed are the peacemakers.”
But what happens when being a peacemaker means being misunderstood?
Or when poverty of spirit costs you the applause of men?

These aren’t inspirational quotes—
They are the call to live the life of Christ.

And that life will interrupt yours.

Blessed are…

Today’s Prayer

Lord,
Your words are life—and they wreck my false sense of security.
Let Your Beatitudes go off in my soul.
Break through my comfort. Transform me from the inside out.
Amen.
