Something More About His Ways

God’s ways are not just higher—they’re often hidden
until we obey.

When Jesus sends you out,
He often shows up where you used to be.

The moment you release what you thought was your responsibility,
you make room for His presence to show up in power.

But hold on too long…
Stay in the name of duty…
Speak when He says wait…
And you may be in the way of His will.

God will teach in the places you leave behind,
move in the people you stop trying to control,
and work while you wait—if you’ll let Him.

Sons and daughters,
It’s time to surrender control.

Sometimes obedience looks like leaving.
Sometimes it looks like being silent.
Sometimes it looks like waiting without answers.

But in every one of these,
God is still moving.

If you’re waiting on Him—wait in faith, not frustration.
If you’ve been told to go—go in trust, not guilt.
And if He’s asked for silence—stay still, and watch Him speak.

Today’s Prayer

Father,
Help me to follow You when I don’t understand.
To go where You say go,
To stay silent when You say be still,
And to wait in faith when there’s nothing else to do.
I trust You more than I trust myself.
Amen.
