Let God Guard Your Life

When you're on Kingdom assignment, your deliverance is God's responsibility—not yours.

Daily Devotional

The Overshadowing Personal Deliverance

God never promised comfort.
He never promised possessions, fairness, or protection from hardship.
But He did promise this:
“I am with you—to deliver you.”

That’s what He told Jeremiah.
That’s what He tells us.
And when you are on assignment for Jesus Christ, He guards your life—not you.

So let go of the obsession with fairness.
Let go of the panic about your reputation, your rights, your stuff.
When you try to protect your own life, you step out from under God's covering.

Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin

Sons and daughters,
One of the biggest traps in this life is expecting justice from a world that doesn't know Jesus.
Jesus didn’t say, “Defend yourself.”
He said, “Follow Me.”

If you spend your life trying to prove you’re right, defend your reputation, or get even—
you'll miss your purpose, lose your peace, and step out of alignment with divine deliverance.

This is not a call to be weak.
It’s a call to be devoted.

Jesus says, “Go where I send you. Do what I tell you. And I will guard your life.”
Not your status.
Not your bank account.
Not your comfort.

Your life.

So stop trying to fix everything.
Stop looking around asking, “Why am I being treated like this?”
Stay the course.
Let Him guard what you can’t.

Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

Today’s Prayer

Father,
You promised to deliver me, not pamper me.
Forgive me for trying to defend myself when You’ve called me to follow.
Today, I release my reputation, my rights, and my need to control outcomes.
Guard my life as I walk in obedience.
Keep me steady in the face of injustice, knowing You are my Defender.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
