Learning to Love the Disagreeable
Every hard place is a fresh chance to reveal Jesus.

Daily Devotional
The Habit of Enjoying the Disagreeable
You weren’t just saved from something—you were saved for something.
You were saved to manifest the life of Jesus in your mortal flesh—even in the hard, uncomfortable, and disagreeable moments of life.
Today’s devotional reminds us: it’s not the easy seasons that reveal Christ in us.
It’s the moments that stretch us, irritate us, and humble us.
That's when the real question is answered:
Will I manifest the life of the Son of God, or will I manifest the irritation and pride of my old self?
The secret to enjoying the disagreeable isn't positive thinking—it’s keen enthusiasm for the opportunity to reveal Jesus.
It’s saying, "Lord, I delight to obey You in this place."
Instantly, Christ presses forward through your life, and His beauty shines.
There must be no debate. No self-pity.
Every hard place is a holy opportunity.
Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin
Sons and daughters, hear me: The real mark of a Kingdom Disciple is not how you act when things are easy—it’s how you reveal Jesus when life gets hard.
You have to develop the habit of letting the life of Christ manifest in the middle of the disagreeable.
It’s easy to be sweet when everything goes your way.
It’s when you're tested, frustrated, ignored, challenged—that’s when the real manifestation of the Son of God happens.
If you make excuses—"This is too much," "I deserve better," "This isn’t fair"—you block the Spirit’s work.
You grieve Him.
You fall back into manifesting your old nature.
But if you say, "Lord, I am delighted to obey You here, too,"
He will show up.
He will manifest Himself through you.
And He will glorify Himself in the middle of your mess.
Circumstances are not accidents—they are the divine engineering of God to shape you, to refine you, and to reveal His Son in you.
Don’t run from the disagreeable.
Rejoice in it.
Because every hard thing is another doorway to manifest the unstoppable life of Jesus Christ.
We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

Today’s Prayer
Lord, let Your life be revealed in me today. Teach me to delight in obeying You, even when the situation is hard. Press through me in every circumstance. Let my heart stay tender, and let my life make You visible to the world around me. Amen.
