Keep Your Conscience Clear Before God

A sensitive conscience keeps you aligned with the whisper of the Holy Spirit.

Daily Devotional

The Habit of a Good Conscience

God’s commands aren’t difficult when your heart is fully yielded—they become divinely easy when His Son is alive and ruling within you.

Today’s devotional reminds us: your conscience is the internal "eye" of your soul, constantly pointing you toward the highest truth you know.
If your soul is tuned to God, your conscience will always pull you toward His will—even when it's uncomfortable, even when it costs you something.

The question isn’t, "Do I know what God wants?"
Most of the time, deep down, you already know.
The real question is, "Will I obey?"

The more you respond to the Spirit’s whisper, the clearer your conscience stays.
Ignore it long enough, and that voice grows faint.
Obey it instantly, and you will walk with a clean heart, quick to know and do the will of your Father.

Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin

Sons and daughters, hear me: If you want to live powerfully in the Kingdom, you must make a habit of keeping a clear conscience before God.

I'm not talking about living in fear of failure—I'm talking about living in tender responsiveness to the Spirit’s gentle nudges.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t scream.
He doesn’t shake you by the shoulders.
His voice is so gentle that if you want to ignore it, you can.

But if you are serious about following Jesus—if you are serious about living as a Kingdom Disciple—you must keep your spirit so open, so sensitive, that even the tiniest whisper causes you to respond.

When you feel debate rising—“Why shouldn’t I do this?”—you're already on dangerous ground.
In the Kingdom, there is no debate with the Spirit of God.
There is only quick obedience.

Drop anything that clouds your communion with Him.
Let no habit, no relationship, no ambition, no excuse interfere.
Keep your conscience clean and your heart free, and you will walk in clarity, peace, and power.

Because the clearer your inner vision, the bolder your Kingdom walk will become.

So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.

Today’s Prayer

Lord, make my heart sensitive to Your voice. Help me obey without delay and walk with a clear conscience before You and others. Let nothing cloud my inner vision. Teach me to live in quick surrender, always attuned to Your Spirit. Amen.
