He Will Never Leave You

In your ordinary days, God is still speaking—can you hear Him?

Daily Devotional

The Never-Failing God

What do your thoughts drift toward when life feels heavy?
Are you tuned to fear, or are you rooted in what God has already said?

“He will never leave you.”
That’s not just a promise for your mountain-top moments.
It’s a covenant for your mundane Mondays too.

Sometimes, we expect God to show up in blazing fire or parting seas.
But more often, He comes quietly—faithfully—through the drudgery and the dull.
No grand miracle. No heavenly choir.
Just His steady presence in the background of your ordinary.

If you’ve truly heard God say, “I will never leave you,”
then live like it.

Don’t let monotony deceive you into thinking God has stepped back.
He’s right there in the repetition.
Right there in the routine.
Right there in the “same old” waiting to reveal something sacred.

Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin

Sons and daughters,
Let me ask you something—
Have you really let God speak to you?
Not just a verse you memorized or a sermon you heard, but a moment when His Word landed in your soul?

Because when God says, “I will never leave you,” He’s not just talking about your worst day.
He’s talking about every day.
The ones with no fanfare. The ones full of dishes and delays.
The ones that feel too ordinary to be holy.

But here’s the truth:
God doesn’t just show up in the storm.
He lives in your silence.
He shows up in your schedule.
And He’s not preparing you for “someday.”
He’s glorifying Himself today.

So don’t wait for the grand to sing.
Sing in the grind.
Because your Helper is with you—even here.

God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.

Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)

Today’s Prayer

Lord,
You have promised never to leave or forsake me.
Help me hear Your voice in the quiet places of my life—
in the repetition, in the waiting, in the days that feel forgotten.
I trust that You are with me, not just when things feel spiritual,
but in every moment, in every breath.
Glorify Yourself in my ordinary.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
