Have You Reached Your “When”?

Job’s breakthrough came when he stopped trying to fix himself—and started interceding for others.

Daily Devotional

Have You Come to “When” Yet?

Some of you are waiting for breakthrough, but your “when” hasn’t come yet.
Why?
Because you’re still focused on you.

Job’s situation turned not when he got his theology right, not when he proved his faith—
but when he stepped into intercession.

When he stopped pleading for himself and started praying for his friends, the shift happened.

Too often our prayers are self-centered, even when we think we’re being holy:
“Lord, help me be pure.”
“Fix me, heal me, make me better…”

But listen: The cross has already done it.
The blood has already covered it.
Your prayers don’t need to beg for what’s already been secured—they need to agree with it.

Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin

Sons and daughters,
Let me challenge you with love—
If your prayers are stuck in the echo chamber of “Lord, make me better,” you’re missing the point of grace.

Jesus didn’t die to give you a spiritual self-improvement plan.
He died to reconcile you to the Father—and to turn you into a priest who intercedes for others.

Some of you are still stuck because you’re still trying to earn what God already gave you.
You're praying like you're still being saved—when the truth is, you've already been saved.

And once you believe that, the next step is clear:
Start praying for others.

Don’t wait until you feel perfect.
Don’t wait until your own situation is settled.
Start now. Start where you are.

Your “when” might be waiting on your willingness to turn from self-focus to Kingdom intercession.

After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes…

Today’s Prayer

Father,
I thank You that I am already saved, already forgiven, already whole in Christ.
Forgive me for praying as if the cross wasn’t enough.
Today, I step into the real work—intercession.
I lift up my friends, my family, those who are far from You.
Let Your Spirit move in their lives just like You’ve moved in mine.
Use my voice, my prayers, my faith for their breakthrough.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
