Don’t Wait—Make It Right
God’s grace is immediate, but so is His expectation of obedience.
Daily Devotional
Do It Now
When Jesus says, “Do it quickly,” He means now.
Not next week.
Not after you’ve cooled off.
Now.
This isn’t about rushing—this is about obedience.
There are some spiritual matters you can’t put off without compounding the cost.
We usually want the other person to make the first move.
We want them to own what they did.
But Jesus doesn’t say, “Wait until it’s fair.”
He says, “Agree with your adversary quickly.”
Why?
Because unresolved anger, pride, and offense open the door to spiritual torment.
Delay creates distance.
Distance creates distortion.
And the longer you wait, the more pain it costs to make it right.
Kingdom Discipleship: A Word from Pastor Kevin
Sons and daughters,
If the Holy Spirit is bringing someone to your mind right now, don’t ignore it.
God’s not asking you to defend yourself.
He’s asking you to obey—now.
Some of you are stuck spiritually not because you don’t pray,
but because you’ve refused to obey the last thing God told you to do.
You’ve convinced yourself that waiting is wisdom.
But it’s not wisdom—it’s disobedience dressed in delay.
Make it right.
Confess what you need to confess.
Release what you need to release.
Not when it feels better—but now.
The road back to peace starts at the corner of humility and urgency.
Get there today.
Settle matters quickly with your adversary…

Today’s Prayer
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for not waiting to make things right with me.
Forgive me for delaying what I know You’ve called me to do.
Bring to mind anyone I need to forgive, apologize to, or reconcile with—
and give me the humility and boldness to obey You immediately.
Let me walk in the light again.
Let nothing in me block the flow of Your Spirit.
In Your name, amen.
